Living Memoirs is a project based on memoirs by different Russian writers, philosophers and social figures, designed to refresh our historical memory. It was made with the financial help from Russian Presidential Grant. My part is based on memoirs by N. P. Gilyarov-Platonov, Russian philosopher and writer, and tells us about the history of the Kolomna town. For better understanding me and the project team visited Kolomna and made sketches there. Thus I developed visuals for the film: translucent faded black and white graphics. I also searched a lot about the historical looks of Kolomna town.
